[Background] Neji is the ingenious spawn of a tradtional Japanese family, and used to be the one considered when it came to choosing an inheritor of the business. As his family is at fault for the fact that he is an orphan, he strongly disagrees with their medieval means. Willingly distancing himself from them, he is a stubborn person with his preferred goals set. Top in his classes and part of Student Council, he did not use to be as approachable as he happens to be now. In fact, he might have been a bit of a vocal bully in reaction to annoyances, judging those weaker and not as smart as (but so much happier than) him. He kicked the habit when one of the underclassmen handed his ivory rear to him in a fight, and has started to warm up a little. He is well-mannered, proud and well-versed in reading a person's actions (to the point that gets a little creepy, but makes him a good polygraph!). Additional to his council position, he captains the aikido club, and furthermore enrolls in judo and swimming. He has given kendo and archery a shot years ago, and decided that weapons are not for him.

Yes, he has no personal life. Tea replaces it.

Hair: Dark brown.. ish. Or black. Kishimoto can't seem to decide.
Eyes: White. Light lavender shade? Which is the only thing that helps in distinguishing his iris from the scelera, really.
Height: 172,1 cm ○ 5'7"
Weight: 54,2 kg ○ 119,2 lbs
Bloodtype: O

Medical info: Healthy, strong, fast and well-acquainted with anatomy and pressure points. Excelling eyesight and, if chosen to use, something akin to x-ray view due to bloodline limit. More specifically, he is able to see a person's chakra exit points (which does apparently not limit him from seeing through solid objects of any kind) and has a viewing range of 359°, as well as the ability to see within a distance of 800 meters (50 meters, at age 13). Not strictly a canon fact, but a conclusion with good reason: His eyes might be extraordinarily photosensitive. Greatly skilled at releasing measured amounts of chakra from any exit point of his body. Has been pierced by two huge fucking arrows both at the left collarbone/shoulder and at his right lower midsection when he was thirteen. Via medical jutsu and the use of some of his own hair, the holes appear to have been sewn/molten back together carefully; whether scars stayed is unknown.

Oh, and he spins quite smoothly. Right round, baby, right round. Might be a good dancer. Gosh, someone shoot me.

Physical Traits: A tad above average height for an Asian man, leanly muscular. Waist-long hair, straight posture. To most normal humans, his eyes might be a little startling.

What's NOT Okay to Mention: Nothing. His family is and always will be a sore spot for Neji, but it will depend on who you are in case there is anything you are interested in. He certainly has not minded to talk about it in front of the whole Chuunin Exam audience, although he might have grown more professional about it.

... He would appreciate if people stopped asking him whether he is blind. Considering his eye colour, he is aware they might never, though.

Lastly, you will have to be one (1) special person to get him to talk about his father.

Notes For the Psychics: He is able to and will most likely read you like an open book; even if you are not considered one of the more outspoken people, it will not be a great challenge. Denial is his best friend, along with a pint of repression. He does not like to be looked down at and will grow stingy if you fail to detect his ability. Do not mock his past. Other, more obvious issues worth mentioning are a bit of a dutiful protective complex in regards to his cousin, a grumpy mother-complex in regards to a handful of other situations, a high sense of protectiveness of friends in general; vanity; and a certain kind of hesitation when it comes to social mingling. Not that he will show it (re: repression and denial), however Neji is still quite used to having the effect of an iceberg on the current atmosphere and, if he were to have his way, would probably rather avoid joining a group for.. well, hanging out. For the sake of not spoiling things, he might rather watch from afar and sport one or the other smile while his comrades are having fun. In short: Social prodding, or else he will stay out of your business. I could go into his possible issues even further and never ever stop, but I'm already starting to lose a grasp on canon and doing a whole lot of interpretation, so I'll end it here before I mention he might have tiny claustrophobic tendencies.

Hugging/Kissing/Nicknaming: Hugging is.. not asked for, but he has the tact to not shove you off if you are a friend. Kissing is a musely no which does not stop people from doing it, apparently and a munly 'ask first'. Nicknaming will be snarked over.

Maiming/Killing/Death: Will altogether be difficult, mostly the killing part. Neji has quite pointedly been avoiding death despite his temporary immortality, and is not planning on letting it happen..ever. It's a pride thing. Not that it's easy to do as much as scratch him if you're not a highly skilled shinobi or otherwise powerful enough. Hooowever, I am never disinclined and up for plotting, so do contact me if you feel tickled. [EDIT] Having experienced death once in Gakuen, he will be avoiding hypocrisy when it comes to talking about avoiding it by all means.
